Deliver Me, Jesus – Praying the Litany of Humility

Deliver Me, Jesus – Praying the Litany of Humility

by Staci Gulino

How often do we desire to be delivered from a situation that is causing us pain and suffering?  Or we desire the deliverance of one that we love?

I propose to you that, rather than focusing upon the circumstance from which we seek deliverance, we prayerfully turn our hearts, desires, and intentions towards becoming ever more like Christ, meek and humble of heart.

Humility brings healing that we don’t even know we need.

The Litany of Humility is one of my all time favorite prayers – one I pray often – and one from which the graces literally pour, ever bearing fruit in due season.

One of the ways that I love to pray it is through song!

HERE is the “Litany of Humility” composed and performed by Danielle Rose

Prayer Composed by Rafael Cardinal Merry del Val (1865-1930),Secretary of State for Pope St. Pius X
