The lovely Katie Sciba, wife, mom, and gifted blogger at The Catholic Wife, returned to the Faith and Good Counsel show to round out our summer season, talking with Erin and I about Financial and Marital Peace. Who hasn’t struggled at one time or another in our marriages as a result of financial issues? In fact, money troubles are at the root of some of the most painful and difficult times in married life.
Katie has such a gift for sharing her experiences in an intimate way, and in a way that is real and something that we can all benefit from in our own lives. She shared with us a particular time of humiliation for her, and how she and her husband worked through this time in their marriage. If you’re looking for some tips on how to live out mercy in marriage, especially as it relates to the financial aspect of the marital relationship, this is the episode for you!
And, here’s my shout out to her beloved, Andrew, for his love, mercy, and openness to Katie during this particularly difficult time in their marriage!
Check out her blog post mentioned during our conversation about Financial and Marital Peace here.
St. Matthew, Patron of Finances, pray for us.
